About Dr Ghosh

Apart from being a clinical psychiatrist, Dr Ghosh is also an academician who has written many scholarly papers. He underwent a fellowship for 5 years in Wisconsin, USA where he engaged in research. He has several postgraduate qualifications in psychiatry and psychotherapy from UK and has worked in VIMHANS in South Delhi. Dr Ghosh also has a qualification from the World Health Organization that deals with providing mental health help in low resource settings. In the past, he has worked in the Swansea NHS Trust in Wales, United Kingdom and he also consulted in a charitable clinic in Delhi for many years.

For more than a decade, he has also been learning and practicing what the Buddha taught. He is possibly the only psychiatrist in India who applies the techniques and insights of Buddhism in all the work that he does. The Buddha sought to impress upon people that suffering is a fact, and also that if we learn to understand suffering, we benefit, in every way.

Our provider is highly skilled in psychotherapy and counseling as well as in prescribing medications. Decisions about treatment and management are taken jointly, after we discuss what you think you want to do and we do not take any step that you are not fully in agreement with.
